This position is for the second shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Job Summary

The Facility Maintenance Tech II will be responsible for intermediate level work, as assigned by Plant Engineering Services leadership, to maintain the service life of company assets such as physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, utilities, and grounds in an operative and safe working condition. Experience in construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare or similar environment required; four years preferred.
• Skills include: successful completion of validation and competency testing, customer satisfaction, use of hand and power tools, ability to interact across cultures and levels, and a valid driver’s license.
• Preferred skills include: broad knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building codes, electrical codes, fire codes, standards for Environment of Care, and reading blueprints and schematics.
