Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a maintenance technician at The Mall at Green Hills to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems. The role involves interior/exterior upkeep, painting, lighting, and basic repairs to ensure a safe, well-maintained property.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Marketing and Leasing for events, maintaining records and safety standards, and performing duties across the property as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training welcomed.
• 2–3 years building maintenance experience in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
• Ability to read plans/schematics and follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance including painting, drywall, lighting, and minor repairs.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and keep logs up to date.
• Support other departments for events and cart placement/repair.
• Follow OSHA and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance programs.
