Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and build at multiple sites. You will perform general maintenance, installations, and repairs while collaborating with a team of technicians to handle complex projects.

The role emphasizes safety, hand/power tool use, and participation in ongoing training through U-Haul University, with eligibility for sponsorship of required certifications and a path for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver's license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U‑Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively use hand/power tools.
• Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects.
• Complete work requests promptly and professionally.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
