Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and build new buildings, and to perform general installation, repair, and service across multiple sites.

You will use hand and power tools, complete work requests promptly, and coordinate with others to handle preventive maintenance and roof inspections as part of a team. Training through U-Haul University enhances ongoing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul)
• Must be 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
