U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain and upgrade buildings, collaborating with a team of technicians to complete complex projects. You will perform general maintenance, installations and preventive inspections, using a variety of hand and power tools across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes learning through U-Haul University and ongoing training, with a focus on safety and reliability in the work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Must have valid driver\'s license.
• DOT certification can be sponsored by U-Haul.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively use hand and power tools.
• Collaborate with technicians to complete complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
