Chicagoland Speedway seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain the facility, equipment, and grounds while supporting events. This hands-on role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements to ensure safety and readiness across the track.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related maintenance experience, with a valid driver’s license and strong safety awareness.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related maintenance experience or training.
• General knowledge of facility maintenance, repair practices, equipment, and tools.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and construction tasks.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to identify hazards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams, contractors, and trades.
• Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours for events.

Mansioni

• Maintain and enhance the facility’s appearance and condition through painting, refurbishing, rebuilding, repairs, and other projects.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing, HVAC, interiors, exteriors, parking lots, and other areas; perform repairs as needed.
• Provide preventive maintenance and routine service on department equipment and assets.
• Assist with inoperative vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance and inspection programs across the facility.
• Safely operate and maintain owned and rented equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown for events of varying sizes.
• Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and other contractors on facility projects.
• Follow safety protocols and identify workplace hazards.
• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests; communicate with teammates and vendors.
