Job summary

Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities, equipment, and grounds and support events. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements to keep buildings and assets safe and event-ready across the property.

Responsibilities include inspections, occasional heavy lifts, and coordinating with contractors. A high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two to four years of related maintenance experience or training.
• Working knowledge of general facility maintenance and tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance facility appearance and condition through painting, refurbishing, rebuilding, repairs, and improvements.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing, HVAC, interiors and exteriors, parking lots, and other facility areas; perform repairs as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on equipment to support safe, efficient operation.
