Job summary

Management & Training Corporation’s Gadsden Correctional Facility is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform repairs and preventive maintenance of buildings, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems in accordance with ACA, FDOC, and DMS directives.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training, and two years of related experience; a valid Florida driver’s license; strong communication and computer skills; and the ability to supervise inmate workers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training completed, related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance of structures, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Repair or replace light fixtures, outlets, and fuses as directed.
• Direct inmates assigned to the department and supervise as needed.
• Ensure work meets ACA, FDOC, and DMS directives.
