Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a facility maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems at the St Louis Premium Outlets. The role includes preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of interior and exterior areas, parking lots, and lighting.

You will support events and leasing activities, while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines and maintaining proper inventories.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Technical School certifications and/or training preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions.
Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions.
Ability to present information to management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Inspects facility and troubleshoots repairs for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural elements.
Performs maintenance/minor repairs such as painting, drywall, lighting, and cleaning of interior/exterior areas.
Operates equipment to perform preventive maintenance and maintain cleanliness of property.
Assist Marketing and Local Leasing with events and cart placement/repair.
Follow OSHA standards and safety guidelines; maintain records and inventories.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned.
