Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Puerto Rico Premium Outlets. The role covers troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and building components to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and routine upkeep of interior and exterior areas, including lighting, painting, and debris removal, while maintaining logs and inventory; flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and schematic drawings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance, painting, drywall and carpentry tasks.
• Operate equipment and maintain cleanliness; follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain logs and preventive maintenance schedules; manage inventories.
• Assist Marketing and Local Leasing with events and cart placement/repair.
