Job summary

BMS Direct, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Associate in Lynchburg, VA. The role covers daily indoor/outdoor maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs under the Production Manager's supervision.

Responsibilities include creating a daily cleaning schedule, performing minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC), and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while working with vendors and management. The position runs 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a focus on reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to report to work on time and able to work the scheduled hours.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have means to contact supervisor/manager in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily facility cleaning schedule for indoors and outdoors.
• Perform routine repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC) as needed.
• Ensure safety is the primary focus of all activities.
• Coordinate with management for preventive maintenance and vendor tasks.
