Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment and facilities in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment. The role covers mechanical, plumbing, electrical, painting, and housekeeping tasks, with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an hourly pay of $24. A strong commitment to training and safety is expected.

Qualifications

1–2 years commercial or industrial maintenance experience.
Active Driver's License in good standing.
Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and safety precautions.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Skill in using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
Performs routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and water fountains.
Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures.
Performs routine HVAC filter changes.
Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
Responsible for housekeeping of mechanical areas as well as other equipment, systems or structures.
