Job summary

SP+ seeks a reliable maintenance and janitorial associate for our Kansas City garage facility. You will perform cleaning, painting, bulb replacement, snow removal and basic maintenance per the supervisor’s directions to keep all areas neat and safe.

You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, good English communication, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Shift typically 5:30 AM–2:00 PM, weekdays with potential backfill responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; facility maintenance, electrical or painting skills may be required depending on assignment.
• Ability to read, write and interpret information; respond to inquiries and complaints in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning per checklists and supervisor directions in all facility areas.
• Walk garage to identify issues; assist with repairs or maintenance requests.
• Paint, replace bulbs, manage spills, and maintain clean entrances, offices and restrooms.
• Operate basic equipment and report safety hazards to Facility Manager.
• Provide courteous customer service and resolve complaints with supervision when needed.
• Maintain appearance, uniform, and cover additional duties as assigned.
