Job summary

Bronco Wine Company is seeking a Facility Maintenance Assistant Manager in Ceres, CA to support the Facility Maintenance Manager in ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of facility systems. You will lead a multifunctional maintenance team, set priorities, and coordinate resources and projects to maintain production continuity.

The role requires strong maintenance leadership, experience with preventive and corrective programs, and the ability to manage contractors while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years relevant work experience if no diploma.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible industrial or facility maintenance experience.
• At least three years leading or supervising a multifunctional maintenance team.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs and CMMS.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, hydraulic, pneumatic, utility, and facility systems.
• Willingness to respond to urgent maintenance needs and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Maintenance Manager in planning, directing, and evaluating daily maintenance operations across electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, utility, and facility systems.
• Provide supervision and accountability for maintenance leads, forepersons, technicians, and other staff.
• Act as department leader in the Manager’s absence to maintain operational continuity and safety.
• Lead maintenance planning within the CMMS including work orders, history, backlog, and schedule compliance.
• Analyze recurring failures and support root-cause analysis for repairs or upgrades.
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors with scope, safety expectations, and performance follow-up.
• Support budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, and cost-management activities.
