Job summary

Bronco Wine Company in Ceres, CA is seeking a Facility Maintenance Assistant Manager to support the Facility Maintenance Manager in ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of facility systems. You will lead a multifunctional maintenance team, set priorities, coordinate resources, and manage contractor work while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance planning, monitor performance, and contribute to cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related work experience considered in lieu of diploma.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible industrial or facility maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years leading or supervising a multifunctional maintenance team.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs, computerized maintenance management systems, contractor coordination, workplace safety compliance, and employee performance management.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, hydraulic, pneumatic, utility, and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Maintenance Manager in planning, directing, and evaluating daily maintenance operations across electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, utility, and facility systems.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, work direction, and accountability for maintenance leads, forepersons, technicians, and other assigned personnel.
• Serve as acting department leader in the Manager’s absence, maintain operational continuity, and address safety or compliance risks.
• Establish daily/weekly priorities, assign labor and resources, monitor work quality, and adjust schedules to meet production needs.
• Lead maintenance planning within the IFS asset management system, including work orders, history, backlog, and schedule compliance.
• Support root-cause analysis, repairs, or capital improvements based on safety, reliability, and cost.
