Job summary

MAC.BID operates by purchasing customer returns and overstock and reselling items via online auctions. The Facility Floater supports all department tasks to ensure smooth operations and reports to the Facility Team Lead.

The role requires on-site availability with 8-hour shifts, 30-minute lunch, and variable hours by workload. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds alone or 50 pounds with a team lift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum.
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
