Job summary

MAC.BID in Greenville, SC is seeking a Removal Floater to support customer pickup operations and assist buyers in locating items. This role is part of the Removal Team Lead's group and emphasizes excellent service during all pickup stages.

The position is full-time, hourly and non-exempt, requiring on-site attendance with specific shifts, and a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and friendly customer interactions.

Qualifications

• On-site availability Monday through Friday with a set schedule.
• Must lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Customer-focused attitude and approach.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:45AM-6:15PM & Tues/Thurs 11:45AM-8:15PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
