Job summary

MAC.BID is hosting a Hiring Event at our new St. Peters location for a Facility Floater role. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt position supports all warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will inventory and sort pallets, keep spaces clean, assist with dock unloading, and follow written instructions. Applicants must be on-site and able to lift up to 50 pounds; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team.
• Stand and walk for hours; follow written directions and policies.

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum.
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

FACILITY FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
