Job summary

MAC.BID in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Removal Floater to assist with all stages of customer item pick-up. You will greet customers, help them locate won items, and ensure they leave satisfied, encouraging continued bidding.

This on-site role requires reliable, detail-oriented teamwork, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds solo and 50 pounds with a team, and adherence to posted schedules. We offer weekly pay, benefits after 60 days, and opportunities through a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:30 AM–6:00 PM & Tue/Thu 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, 8-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:
