Job summary

St. Charles Regional Chamber is seeking a Receiving Team member to unload trailers at the dock using pallet jacks and forklifts. This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with an 8-hour shift and a 30-minute lunch.

You will meet live trailers, operate equipment, and assist with other assignments as needed to keep delivery flow smooth. Ideal candidates lift up to 25 lbs alone (50 lbs with team) and stand/walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests during employment.
• Forklift certified (or successfully pass in-house training/certification).
• On-site availability, Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm, 8-hour shifts with lunch.
• Lift 25 lb solo, 50 lb with team lift.
• Stand and walk for hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Follow written directions and company policies.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Receiving Team employs heavy equipment to unload trucks safely and quickly. This position reports to the Facilities Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retentionfees
• Use pallet jacks and fork trucks to unload product
• Safely drive a forklift according to policy and the Safety Coordinator
• Perform other tasks as assigned bymanagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests duringemployment
• Must be forklift certified (or successfully pass in-house training/certification)
• Availability to work on-site. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
