Job summary

MAC.BID in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Facility Floater to support all department tasks and ensure smooth operations under the Facility Team Lead. The role is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, with duties spanning pallet handling, cleaning, waste disposal, cardboard baling, and dock unloading.

Qualifications include on-site availability Mon–Fri with specified shifts, ability to lift up to 25 lb solo and 50 lb with a team, and the requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• On-site, Mon–Fri schedule with specific shift times: Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00–18:30 and Tue/Thu 11:30–20:00.
• Must lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with team.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets and assist with inventory.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces.
• Empty garbage and manage dumpster disposal.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM , 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
