Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Facility Floater in Monroeville, PA. This full-time hourly non-exempt role supports all warehouse operations, reporting to the Facility Team Lead. You will assist with inventory, cleaning, unloading trailers, and various tasks to keep the department running smoothly.

The position offers on-site hours from 8:00 to 4:30, with potential schedule variation by location, and includes comprehensive benefits after milestones.

Responsibilities

• Inventory, sort pallets and meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly.

• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site 8am- 4:30pm Monday through Friday . Schedules may vary Monday through Friday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
