Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Removal Floater in Hamilton, OH. This role supports all stages of customer pick-up, helping bidders locate items and ensuring a smooth checkout process.

You will greet customers, assist with finding items, and ensure they leave satisfied to encourage continued bidding, reporting to the Removal Team Lead. On-site work with a Monday–Friday schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work on-site and follow posted schedule.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in finding their items.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their winning bids to encourage continued bidding.
• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups.

REMOVAL FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up . The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday-Friday 9:45am-6:15pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
