Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking an experienced RN to join the PRN team at 10010 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO.

The role offers 12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM) and 8-hour evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM) with competitive tiered differentials across units such as ICU, Stepdown, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and more. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, an active Missouri RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years bedside RN experience.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple units (Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, etc.).
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other departments.
• Demonstrate effective assessment, communication, and teamwork.
• Adhere to Mercy policies and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing learning while providing flexible coverage.

Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Flexible Scheduling Options

Competitive Pay With Tiered Differentials

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials

• Evening: +$2.75/hr
• Night: +$4.60/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
• License: Current RN license in the state
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
