Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking a dynamic RN to provide patient care across multiple units, delivering high‑quality, compassionate nursing services. You will coordinate patient care with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

This role offers flexible scheduling, meaningful growth opportunities, and a sign‑on bonus up to $10,000 for eligible RNs, with tiered shift differentials enhancing evening, night, weekend pay and a strong

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: push/pull and lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across multiple units as part of the Mercy South Float Pool.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Float across units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more.

Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Part Time- 24 hours/week

Flexible Scheduling Options:

• 12-hour shifts:7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM

• 8-hour evening shifts:3 PM – 11 PM

Competitive Pay with Tiered Differentials:

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg):+$5.00/hr

• Tier 2 (Stepdown):+$7.50/hr

• Tier 1 (ICU):+$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.75/hr

• Night: +$4.60/hr

• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Sign-On Bonus:

Up to$10,000for eligible RNs!

Qualifications:

• Experience:1–2 years of bedside RN experience

• Education:Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)

• License:Current RN license in the state

• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association

• Physical requirements/demands:

  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift

  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
