Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is seeking a Security/Crowd Services Associate to support event operations and facility safety in an active environment. You will participate in security briefings, monitor areas, enforce policies and assist guests with inquiries and directions.

You will respond to emergencies, coordinate with supervision, and help ensure a positive visitor experience while maintaining building security protocols for events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Authoritative verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
• Security guard training certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Ability and willingness to enforce policies.
• Must be able to discuss, converse with, and exchange accurate information with patrons, staff, stakeholders, etc.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Security briefing before each event.
• Monitor and report from assignment area.
• Communicate all security/crowd issues to Security Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
• Provide outstanding customer experience by answering general facility and program questions.
• Monitor building reservations and direct guests to proper locations.
• Educate patrons on building policies and ensure compliance.
• Enforce policies and standards for the facility as set by department.
• Serve as primary organizer in risk management situations.
• Respond to medical and non-medical emergencies.
• Maintain safety and security throughout the center.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Attend staff and monthly meetings and communicate via emails and messages.
• Assist in set up and break down duties as assigned.
• Follow and adhere to procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties as required.
