Duties include high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and routine inspections, while following safety guidelines and collaborating with supervisors to meet high cleanliness standards. This is a high-activity role requiring attentiveness and reliability.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Sufficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height around the room.
• Sanitize surfaces below shoulder height and remove fingerprints on doorknobs and walls.
• Bathroom cleaning in specified order and refilling dispensers.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners.
• Dust mop and vacuum, clean under furniture and in restrooms.
• Grounds care including exterior cleaning and litter control.
• Public common areas cleaning and windows/plant area upkeep.
• Food court area cleaning and trash removal.
• Floor sanitizing and inspection of room after cleaning.
• Report broken items and maintain quiet, courteous service.
• Follow safety and company policies; maintain neat appearance.
