Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned facilities. Tasks include high-dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom upkeep, trash removal, floor care, and outdoor area maintenance.

The role requires knowledge of basic janitorial methods, safety practices, and the ability to follow written and spoken instructions while maintaining a neat appearance and courteous service.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height and removing fingerprints.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilet areas and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Dust mop and vacuum to clean floors, and ensure edges and under furniture are clean.
• Grounds care and cleanliness of outside areas including sidewalks and benches.
