Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and safety practices.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals per MSDS sheets.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height using a treated duster.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning surfaces below shoulder height in a counter-clockwise sequence.
• Bathroom cleaning including toilet and sink areas with germicidal solution.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners and sanitize receptacles.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming using dust mop and proper technique.
• Grounds care including outdoor cleanliness of sidewalks and benches.
• Maintain public common areas by dust mopping, cleaning glass, and tidying planters.
• Clean food court tables, sanitize surfaces and manage trash and trays.
• Floor sanitizing starting from back of room and moving toward exit.
• Inspect room and ensure furniture placement and order; communicate issues to supervisor.
• Follow customer relations guidelines: be courteous and quiet, assist customers as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or Account Manager.
