Job summary

Disney is seeking an Associate Project Manager (Facility Asset Management) in Anaheim, CA to lead safety, planning, and execution across complex hospitality/industrial projects valued over $4M annually.

Responsibilities include developing project scope, managing schedules, budgets and EFC, and coordinating with internal/external teams; requires strong communication, leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and construction management software.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree (BA/BS) in project/construction management or related field and 2+ years of applicable hands-on project/construction experience.
• Four years of project management/construction management in hospitality, commercial and industrial construction. Theme Park construction experience is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of project management process and demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of projects over $4M annually.
• Proven knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, document management, best value contracting, contract management, and cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques. Familiarity with codes (UBC, NEC & UFC).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare presentations for department management reviews that drive decisions.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scope development and options analysis; develop implementation strategy and schedule; obtain funding approval.
• Closely manage project timelines and schedules to minimize impact on operations.
• Assemble project teams and manage relationships with stakeholders across lines of business.
• Provide support for contract development and scope of work documentation.
• Responsible for the project schedule and critical path tasks to ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate timely communication with Business Partners, Clients, and management regarding status and budget.
