Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Facility Access Driver in Sulphur, LA. This full-time role involves managing badge access, monitoring entry points, and conducting patrols at a chemical and petrochemical site while providing excellent customer service.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and meet the minimum experience requirements in security or related fields. The position offers daytime and overnight shifts with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate access logs, issue and collect visitor badges or access credentials, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, designated areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
