Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization Driver in Sulphur, LA. You will guard clients across industries, manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain security logs while delivering professional customer service.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to safety and site policies. Shifts run Thursday to Saturday, 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with pay at $15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Minimum: 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisory/manager experience or 3 years of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation; and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken in required reports.
