Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Screening Driver for Sulphur, LA. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience at a chemical/petrochemical site. This full-time role pays $15.50 per hour.

Requires a valid driver’s license and security or law enforcement experience as specified. Training, growth opportunities, and company benefits offered. Background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• On-site facilities may be limited (portable toilets and rustic guard shacks).
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify identification/credentials, and deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Screen visitors, deliveries, and vehicles per post orders and document activity in logs; report concerns to site leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, assist with alarms and evacuations as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report security concerns.
