Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee daily maintenance, upkeep and security of leased facilities in Haltom City, Texas. You will coordinate the facilities program and be the primary contact for all facility issues, including pest control and repairs, while managing supplies and equipment.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with building systems, and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years related experience in facilities or maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the facilities maintenance program and serve as the primary contact for all facility-related issues.
• Inspect facility, janitorial and security processes.
• Prepare spaces for new hires and set up conference rooms.
• Monitor safety and environmental compliance and coordinate with Facilities Manager.
• Coordinate mail pickup/delivery and manage access keys and after-hours access.
• Ensure buildings are secured at the end of each day and maintain emergency contacts.
