Job summary

Mars is seeking an experienced Utilities Technician to oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of facility utilities including boilers, HVAC, electrical and grounds. The role leads the Mars Supply Excellence PM Pillar and manages vendor relationships to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will drive PM strategies, analyze data, and oversee contractors and maintenance staff. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to read blueprints and regulatory requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance or utilities management.
• Experience with boiler operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of boilers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water, waste, and compressed air systems.
• Lead PM pillar initiatives for MSE PM programs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure on-site safety standards.
• Lead and train maintenance staff and groundskeepers; promote continuous improvement.
• Develop budgets for utilities and building maintenance and track expenditures.
