Job summary

The NYS Office of Children and Family Services is seeking an experienced trades professional to perform journey-level and skilled work in maintenance of facilities and equipment. You will work across trades and supervise others in repair, installation and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson or equivalent training.
• When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform journey-level work in one trade, and skilled, semiskilled level work in a combination of other trades in the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Supervise others in maintenance, repair, installation and construction activities.
