Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' experience in 3+ maintenance trades (electrical, plumbing, construction, HVAC, or mechanics).
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Some working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
• Perform drywall repair and painting.
• Check safety systems (e.g., fire alarm) and ensure fire safety standards.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring for issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Repair broken locks and fill gaps in walls.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain grounds as needed.
• Snow removal and yard upkeep as needed.
• Perform cleaning activities as required.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
• Collaborate with workers and professionals during renovations.
• Complete reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Observe and notify Maintenance Supervisor/Director of issues.
• Maintain responsive professional communication with agency, community contacts, and vendors.
