Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician at University House Midtown in Atlanta, GA. You will support maintenance, preventive tasks, turnovers, and supply management to ensure safe, functional living spaces for residents.

We value service orientation, quick follow-through, and adaptability in a fast-paced college environment. This role requires hands-on maintenance skills and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel when required.
• Ability to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOP, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain assets and surroundings.
• Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities team.
• Perform routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in completing service requests.
• Document work performed, parts used, and daily summaries with notes and signatures.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff, contractors and management.
• Routinely perform basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical and lighting to ready apartments on time.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Clean coils and condensers, lubricate equipment, maintain air filters, and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean work area and maintenance shop.
