Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician II to join our on-site maintenance team at one of our properties in the United States. You will respond to requests, perform preventive tasks, prepare apartments for turnovers, and manage supplies to keep buildings safe and functional.

This role requires strong problem solving, technical ability, and reliable follow-through in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. Expect a non-exempt schedule with opportunities for bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-time general maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 certification (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of key management and security systems.
• Safety procedures with a safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform demanding work to preserve the asset and minimize liability.
• Oversee operating, system monitoring/diagnostics, and preventative testing for major building systems.
• Operate monitoring/diagnostics and testing for life safety systems (fire pumps, alarms, detectors).
• Assist in creating emergency and disaster preparedness plans.
• Maintain key management protocols and supervise vendors as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Manager.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance/repair in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure all service requests are completed.
