Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician at University House Midtown in Atlanta, GA. This on-site role handles maintenance requests, preventive tasks, and apartment turnovers to ensure safe, functional living spaces for residents.

You will perform basic repairs, document work, and coordinate with staff while adhering to safety standards and property SOPs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school/GED is required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Safety-conscious with punctuality and dependability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and work after-hours/weekends as needed.
• Ability to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property per SOP, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and manage supplies.
• Document work and parts used; report daily with notes.
• Provide excellent resident and staff service with a positive attitude.
• Respond to service requests and assist with safety compliance.
