Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Tech / Facilities Assistant at the Milton community in Phoenix. The role supports the Facilities Director in upkeep, minor repairs, and coordinating with external vendors to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include reviewing logs, basic repairs, decorative and furniture tasks, and liaising with leadership and vendors. Weekend/evening availability and customer-service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Review the maintenance log daily and complete assigned tasks, noting completion.
• Inspect furniture and arrange for appropriate maintenance or cleaning with vendors.
• Perform minor repairs (faucet, latches, toilets, bulbs, hinges) as needed.
• Hang bulletin boards, pictures, coat hooks, and items in resident suites and offices.
• Coordinate with Facilities Director, Executive Director and vendors as liaison.
• Assist with touch up painting, furniture moving, and basic equipment maintenance.
