Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Tech / Facilities Assistant in Georgia to support the Facilities Director in daily upkeep and repair tasks at the Milton community. The role involves minor repairs, coordination with vendors, and ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include inspecting furniture, performing small fixes, painting touch-ups, and maintaining cleanliness on common areas.

Responsibilities

• Review the maintenance log daily and complete tasks within scope (initial and date).
• Inspect furniture and schedule detail cleanings with vendors.
• Perform minor repairs (faucet washers, door latches, toilet hardware, lights, hinges).
• Hang bulletin boards, pictures, coat hooks in resident suites and offices.
• Liaise with Facilities Director, Executive Director and external vendors.
• Touch up paint, furniture refinishing, moving and transporting items.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets.
• Adjust heating/cooling and ventilation as needed (filters, etc.).
• Gather and empty trash; remove outdoor debris.
• Notify supervisor of major repairs via maintenance log.
