Job summary

Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Village of Our Saviors Manor in Westland, MI. Qualifications

• One to two years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate a computer and maintenance software.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine repairs or maintenance.
• Operate, test, maintain and repair machinery, equipment and tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems efficient.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Install electrical, gas, plumbing systems and fixtures and related equipment.
• Paint or repair surfaces and building structures.
• Provide landscaping and snow removal to ensure safety and appearance.
• Move heavy furniture and equipment following safety procedures.
• Input work requests in electronic system.
• Install equipment to improve energy or operational efficiency.
• Attend meetings and training to stay informed on current information and skill development.
• Follow Presbyterian Villages policies and safety regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
