Job summary

Walmart in San Angelo, TX seeks a full-time maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair facilities and equipment, and manage work orders and contractors to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will use heavy machinery, follow OSHA and EPA guidelines, document activities, and collaborate with managers and teams to meet deadlines while upholding Walmart standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Observes and documents signs of wear and tear.
• Recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
• Determines replacement needs.
