Job summary

Walmart in San Angelo, TX is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment to perform preventive maintenance on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures at a busy Supercenter. You will diagnose issues, dismantle and repair equipment, document work, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams during on-call rotations.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and related trades, with safety compliance and accurate record-keeping as priorities.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle record.
• No major safety violations in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs equipment and fixtures; documents wear and tear.
• Operates, tests, and diagnoses issues; dismantles machines to access parts.
• Uses blueprints/manuals and tools; maintains records of work orders and parts.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with contractors as needed.
• Complies with OSHA/EPA regulations and company safety standards.
