Job summary

Walmart in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across facilities and equipment. You will manage work orders, order parts, and ensure safety and compliance while upholding Walmart standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities and equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and contractors; track parts and expenditures.

Education

Vocational or technical certification

2 years' experience in plumbing/electrical/material handling equipment

4 years' experience in plumbing/electrical/material handling equipment
