Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair apartment properties in West Lafayette, IN. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, and keeping units ready for turnover.

Ideal candidates are safety-minded, customer-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. A high school diploma or GED is required; a CPO certification or plan to obtain within six months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and being safety-conscious.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work at a property as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs and OSHA.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep units ready for turnover.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager.
• Document work performed and parts used with clear notes and signatures.
• Assist in ensuring all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff, contractors and management.
