Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our Rochester, NY team. You will work on-site from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks to keep units ready for residents.

You will handle repairs, inspections and routine upkeep, with opportunities for growth across Rochester-area properties and a comprehensive benefits package. This permanent role offers weekly pay and a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Experience performing repairs across multiple trades in a facilities setting.
Ability to perform drywall repair, painting touch-ups, patching and light carpentry.
Basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC system upkeep knowledge.

Responsibilities

Prepare facility and units for residents with renovations and move-in repairs.
Complete hands-on projects including drywall repair, painting and light carpentry.
Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs for safety and functionality.
Inspect, test and maintain appliances, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Support year-round grounds maintenance including snow removal and upkeep.
