Job summary

EPRI in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Technician, Facilities to maintain and repair building systems. The role covers mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural tasks, plus coordinating outside vendors and ensuring safety and compliance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage records, and interact with managers, staff, and contractors. A high school diploma and 2 years of building maintenance experience are required; a technical diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a vocational/technical diploma in building trades is preferred.
• At least 2 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Equivalent education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Perform facilities maintenance and proactive repair work.
• Coordinate and supervise work by Facilities contractors.
• Interact with managers, staff, vendors and contractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
