Job summary

Billingsley Collection seeks a Facilities Technician to combine housekeeping and porter duties, ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces for residents. You will support move-ins, address cleaning needs, and maintain common areas with attention to detail and high hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have background in housekeeping, strong customer service, and basic maintenance skills; flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemical storage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate with residents and management.
• Basic maintenance knowledge (bulbs, minor plumbing).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Uniforms provided during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas: hallways, lobbies, elevators, and community spaces to a pristine standard.
• Assist with new move-ins; ensure units are clean and prepared for tenants.
• Maintain amenity areas with dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
• Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and orderly.
• Perform basic maintenance like changing light bulbs and minor plumbing repairs.
• Keep grounds, landscaping, and parking areas in good condition.
• Respond to resident requests; log service tickets in company systems.
• Monitor property for safety hazards and report to management.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies; restock as needed.
• Organize storerooms and maintain safety standards.
